Perhaps we can reach a consensus on the subject of blogging if we concede that at some level, popularity of this type of media, is controlled by the mob. Yet at another level, I think we need to also agree that blogcess is controlled by how well a blog is serving it's specific target niche. A blogger might reach a very small audience, but those reading it are vested in the prose placed before them. However, for those reaching for a rising star, ponder if you will the artist. How many people in the world over time and distance have been artists, drawn , scuplted, or applied brush to canvas. How many of those have even reach a small level of recongition. Those that have or more, did they somehow attract the attention of a patron who helped to publicize them in some manor, and still gems of art perculate to the top. But in the end, since it is all subjective, could we not argue that the only successful blogger or artist, or shoe salesman, is one who pleases him/her self. Is not the reality in the perception of the object, and the illusion in those creators who delude themselves...for after all...we are not really as dumb as we look.
Can girls play? I'm looking for just about anything to avoid writing this thesis right now, but enjoy the sport, too.
